Pumpkin seed oil is one of the nutritional plant oils, which is obtained from natural processing of the seed of pumpkin of cucurbitaceae. It is light green to dark red in color, which contains fatty acid profiles and is dominated by unsaturated fatty acids, namely linoleic and oleic acid. Organic pumpkin seed oil has an intense nutty taste and is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Browned oil has a bitter taste.

Pumpkin seed oil is a natural source of polyunsaturated fatty acids. The composition of the fatty acids are: Palmitic acid 8.0-15.0%, Stearic acid 3.0-8.0%, Oleic acid 15.0-35.0%, Linoleic acid 40.0-65.0%.
